I took photos until 11 pm on Election Night, then drove to the airport at 3:30am to go to Oaxaca, Mexico to photograph Hanna & Oscar's wedding. It was a bit surreal. I wasn't sure the election had really happened, except that happy Mexican people kept giving me the thumbs up sign and saying "Obama! Obama!"
Our first day in Oaxaca: After a bird-shaped breakfast outside on the patio at our hotel, we went to see the ruins of Monte Alban with Jackie and Hanna.
