Every year, Hopewell House has a celebration to remember friends and family members who are no longer with us. People decorate paper bags, put candles in them and then place them around the grounds for a lovely display.
The news said this morning that this is the 3rd snowiest December on record for Portland! It is definitely blowing my little Texan mind to see the snow piled up everywhere! Here are some updated photos from this morning. The ice on top of the snow made it very difficult to open the back door.
