Calling all Cute Pets!

Bring your pet to the Vancouver Mall PetSmart on Saturday, August 14th between noon and 4pm to have your pet's portrait taken and entered into a cute pet contest. If you decide to purchase a print from the portrait session, 50% of your purchase price will be donated to the Banfield Charitable Trust. See the attached flier for more information.

Certified Professional Photographer!

I just found out this week that I passed my certification! I am now a "CPP."

I went through this exam and image submission process to demonstrate to my clients that I am committed to photography as a profession, that I intend to run my photography business ethically and that I will continue my photography education.

The annual auction for Chess for Success took place at The Nines. MC Richard Meeker of Willamette Week and Auctioneer Johnna Wells with her assistant Erin Doherty reminded the crowd about the importance of teaching kids learning skills through chess.

The candidates who took part in this debate after the Lents Neighborhood Association meeting were, for the most part, knowledgeable and respectful. They made me proud to be an Oregonian.
