Backyard Beasts

We heard a rather loud twittering noise this morning and out in the backyard we saw a young raccoon. It had apparently gotten separated from it's kin and was calling to them - over and over and over again. For about two hours it ascended and descended our Hawthorne trees while "crying." Finally, it found some siblings and they quietly clambered away...Enjoy the pics!
